Line Graphs Tab

Entering Data

To enter a data set, use the x and y columns in the data table. For example, to enter the point (1, 67), enter 1 into the x column and 67 into the same row in the y1 column.

The arrow and tab keys can make data entry more convenient.

If a data set has more than 10 values, use the scroll bar to see all the values.

Clicking the Clear button erases all values in the table.

Note: The table only accepts numbers. For example, the value "January" can be represented by the number 1, "February" by 2, and so on.

Entering a Second Data Set

To create a second data set, enter its y-values into the y2 column, across from the corresponding x-values.

Note: If an x-value has a value for y1 but not for y2, leave the y2 list empty for that x-value (and vice-versa).

Drawing a Line Graph

Click Draw to draw the line graph(s) of the data.

The calculator displays the minimum and maximum values on each axis and distances between the tick marks.

Changing Min/Max Values and Tick Marks

To change the minimum and maximum values or the distance between tick marks, enter new values.

Note: Changes to data sets or axis settings do not take effect until Draw is clicked.
