Use the Settings tab to:
The standard viewing window displays a scale along the x- and the y-axes from a minimum (Min) of -10 to a maximum (Max) of 10. In the standard window, tick marks are 1 unit apart.
To change these values, enter new numbers. Click Graph to apply the changes.
Use Table Settings to set the ten values of x listed in the Function Values table.
The default settings have the x-values start at -5 and increase by 1s.
These values can be changed. For example, if the Start value is -25 and the Step is 5, the ten values of x in the table will be the values between -25 and 20: -25, -20, -15, -10, etc.
After changing the table settings, click Graph to apply the changes.
There are three special coordinate systems available.
Clicking Standard Window returns to the default settings:
In many windows, including the Standard Window, the units on the two axes are different sizes, so graphs are distorted.
Clicking "Square" changes the y-axis settings so units along the two axes have the same length.
In the "Square" setting, the user can only change x-axis settings. The y-axis settings change automatically to keep the units the same length.
The Integer setting changes the x-scale so trace points always have integer x-values. (Note: The Trace function is in the Equations tab.)
In the "Integer" setting, the user cannot change any axis settings.
Whenever the coordinate system changes, click Graph to apply the changes.
