A promotional brochure is a folded advertisement that promotes a product, service, or cause. A good promotional brochure hooks readers with interesting illustrations and then persuades them with written information about the product or service.
 
Many promotional brochures use the structure illustrated in the framework below. Print this framework and use it as a guide when you write and design your own promotional brochure.

• Slogan and Illustration
Name it Identify the name of your product or service, and give readers a general idea of what your product or service can do for them.
Short and sweet
Think up a short, clever slogan that readers will remember.
Illustrate it Choose an illustration that will appeal to your target market. A good illustration should tell a story about the product or service.

• Reasons and Details
• Illustrations
Be reasonable Give reasons that explain how the reader will benefit from your product or service. Then, provide details that support each reason. The details should answer readers' questions about your product or service.
Say it with pictures Include illustrations that highlight important details about your product or service.

Key Information
Call to Action
List the key concepts Give your readers key information that they may need or want to know about your service or product. Don't forget to tell potential clients how to find you and what your product or service costs.
Give one last push Wrap up your brochure with a call to action.
